A subject you enjoyed studying this semester
Hi everyone! This semester I am taking, Learning, poverty and socio cultural mediation, it is an elective subject of educational psychology. It is a subject that I am enjoying and learning a lot. We mainly study learning as a situated and collective process. Some of the topics we see is the role that educational psychology has in the learning processes and ethical implications, socio-cultural mediation in diverse contexts of poverty, among others. Some of the authors we see and that I like are Bruner, Coll and Vygotsky. What I like about this subject is the critical view it has of education in Chile, for example questioning the selection processes to study, the study tools there are to learn, the role of the state in education, among others. In addition to the spaces for reflection and discussion that are given in classes, I also like the evaluations, because they are relatory of the last class, file of the readings and a seminar on a topic of free choice of what was seen in cl...
