blog 2:My favorite holiday



Hello everybody!


My best vacations were in 2020. I traveled with my partner to the Magallanes Region and the Chilean Antarctic region, we stayed 5 days in place. It is a place with a diverse landscape, where you can find reliefs, mountains, glaciers, lakes, and also know the flora and fauna of the region itself.

One of the places we went was to the Torres del Paine National Park. To see the towers I had to walk many kilometers, which I had never walked in my whole life hahaha.You can also ride a horse somewhere along the way if you don't want to walk. But I preferred to walk to contemplate the landscape more carefully, you can observe the wonderful flora that the park has, it is a place where you can connect with nature. On the trails there are parts that you can drink water from the ground, it is very delicious. The color of the lakes that you see is very beautiful. It is a place where many people come from all over the world, I saw Europeans, Americans, Asians. From my experience, I recommend not giving so many breaks along the way if you are in a van that will take you back to the station to take the bus back to your stay. Because with my boyfriend we were without transportation back, however, there was a miracle, there was a private van waiting for a passenger who had not yet descended the towers. If ever in your life you can go to this place, I recommend you go.

Blog 7: Changes to my study programme

  Hello everybody! One of the first changes I would make would be to the program of study. I believe that the length of the career could be changed to only four years of study, as in many countries. I would also like the subjects to have more practical steps, since generally in the fifth year you have to do the practice, but it would not be bad to have previous practical experience, and also to add another room of mirrors to see how psychological interventions are performed. I could also say that I would like to see a change in the infrastructure, more comfortable rooms, with more technology to meet the needs of all people, for example, they do not have the tools to meet the needs of people who have difficulty seeing or hearing. I would fix the access roads to the university so that they are inclusive for all, as some are in poor condition, which can cause an accident or hinder mobility for example for people who may be in wheelchairs and that a more modern elevator is added. Blog 4 : About a bit of my life in pandemic

Hello everybody!  Last year I spent most of the day alone, I missed sharing with my friends and college classmates, sometimes I felt lonely and with little motivation to do daily activities.  Even though we are living in times of crisis, there are also things for which I can be thankful, I found a job at the supermarket and met generous people, I have a warm home, I eat every day and I am in good health. This year one of my best friends came back to the apartment to live with me, we share as often as we can and spend a lot of time talking about university and life. I also went back to listening to music on the radio while I study or do activities, as I did when I was a teenager, when I listen to the radio I feel more accompanied. I hope the pandemic ends , there are times when there is no motivation for anything and a lot of uncertainty due to the contingency we are going through. Blog 3: My career

  Hello, everyone! Psychology has various lines of specialization, such as clinical, social, legal, occupational,  and community psychology.  So one can specialize and work in various areas, in  particular i like clinical. The clinical psychologist can do psychotherapy, wich is an intervention that seeks that the person can lead a more functional  life according to what happens or improve the relationship of a group, such as the family. I would like to contribute to the prevention of mental health , considering that in our the country there is a high suicide rate. Mental problems are increasing every day, yet there is not much investment in mental health in this country.  I also like the topics that community psychology  with on environment is sues.
